Boasting almost 30 yrs in the Central Florida community, EMMI provides sports
marketing, production and management of active events. A local institution, they produce many of the
Central Florida races and active events including the annual Corporate IOA 5K. |

The Corporate 5K is specifically geared towards businesses. Registration has always been a time
consuming part of producing this race. With thousands of participants, fielding paper registration
forms and entering data manually wasn’t efficient for this staff. EMMI turned to WebSolvers, an event
sponsor and participant, for an online solution.

| Solution: |
Building a registration system for an event of this kind had to be a custom job. Many unique features,
such as the team registration process, had to be accounted for in the design and functionality. WebSolvers
built a new online registration system which included a database, online registration ability for participants
and administrative controls for EMMI staff.

| Result: |
Before the online registration system was developed, EMMI staff would stay late many days leading up to
the Corporate 5K to process the registrations manually. Now they can login anytime, view the latest registration
numbers and gather attendee data.
